Punjab National Bank, the second-largest public sector bank in India provides several options to check the balance of their customer account. To use the PNB Missed call balance enquiry facility, Punjab National Bank account holders will have to register their mobile number with the PNB. You can go to any nearest branch and register your mobile number in the account.

Once the Mobile number is registered, you can check your account balance at any time by dialling the PNB balance check number. This facility is currently available for Savings (SB) and Current accounts only.

If the same mobile number is registered with two Punjab National Bank accounts, then you will get the balance SMS of both accounts.

Note that there is a gap of 45 minutes (Two subsequent queries from the same Mobile Number).

Customers when opening their bank account, they are given an option to activate their Net banking. Account-holders can log in themselves with “user-id” and “password” which is provided by the bank authorities.

• Click on the option “new user”.
• Enter your account number.
• Select the option “registration type”
• Verify the details.

 

After successful registration, you can log in at any time and check your account balance.

Punjab National Bank provides E-statements(E-mail Statements), where registration can be easily done. The steps to register are as follows:

• Register Punjab National Bank net banking through the internet banking facility (Follow the above steps if you have not yet registered for the Internet Banking account).
• If you have already registered, then log in with your User Name and Password.
• Choose the option “other services”
• Go to the “service request” option.
• Then you will find the option “E-statement registration”.

After the successful E-Statement registration, you will get your statements and balance through Email Statements.

PNB Customers can use any UPI Apps like Google Pay, PhonePay, PayTM, BHIM UPI etc on their mobile to check the account balances. These apps allow us to add multiple bank accounts of different banks.

You can check the account balance of your account at any time by using the balance option and entering the UPI Pin.

Punjab National Bank provides a lot of information to its customers with the help of different apps. These apps help the customer to check their balance, mini statements, and transaction histories.

There are different apps and they are as follows:

PNB M-Banking:

Through this application, the account holders can check their balance, make an inquiry, have a mini-statement, transfer the funds, and much more.

PNB m-Passbook:

Through this application, customers can check their account balances. The account holders can also save their statements on their mobile with the help of the PNB m-Passbook app.

PNB Basket:

The basket app provides a balance check option. This enables the customers to avail Banking with the help of SMS, missed call banking if they are not having or using 3G or WI-fi or an internet connection through Mobile.

Customers who have an ATM card can go to Punjab National Bank ATM or any other ATM and check their balance easily. Steps to check balance are as follows:

• Swipe/insert the card into the machine.
• Enter the 4-digit ATM PIN.
• Click on the “balance inquiry” option.
• The screen will display the balance and provide a receipt also.
