Follow the below steps:
Step 1: Visit the official Kotak website for the Instant Pin generation.
Step 2: Select the Card Type from the list. For Debit Card Pin generation select the ‘Debit Card / Best Compliments card’ option.
Step 3:Now select whether it is Visa / Rupay / Master Card
Note: You can generate the Pin for the active debit cards only. If your card is blocked permanently, then you cannot generate the Pin for that card. If it is temporarily blocked, then you have to unblock it first to generate the Pin.
Step 4: Now you will get a screen to enter your card details including the Card Number, Expiry Date (Month and Year), CVV Number (3 digit number printed on the backside of the card), etc
Step 5: Now you can enter your six-digit new ATM / Debit Card Pin.
Step 6: Re-enter your New PIN and confirm it.
After entering all the details, Make sure that the selected card details are accurate. If you have submitted the wrong card details three times, then the Instant Pin generation option will not work for you again. You have to request the Physical Pin from the branch.
Step 7: Now click on the Confirm button.
You will get an OTP now. After validating the OTP, your new PIN will be ready for use.
Kotak Mahindra Debit Card Pin generation through Net Banking
Kotak Mahindra Bank account holders with active Internet Banking accounts can generate or change the ATM PIN number online.
Follow the below steps:
Step 1: Visit the Kotak Mahindra Bank website and click on the Login button on the top right
Step 2: Log in to the account using your CRN, User Name, or Card Number
Step 3: Now you will get an OTP on your registered Mobile Number. Enter the OTP and login to your account.
Step 4: Click on the Debit Card Menu. You can see your debit card details there.
Step 5: Click on the Generate Pin
Step 6: In the next screen you can select your Debit card number to generate the Pin
Step 7: Enter your new Debit /ATM Card PIN number and re-enter the same to confirm it.
Step 8: Success! Your new ATM Card PIN is ready for use now. You will get a notification SMS on your Mobile Number.
ATM Pin generation through Kotak Mahindra Mobile App
You can use the Kotak Mahindra Bank Android and IOS Mobile App to generate the ATM Pin.
Follow the below steps:
Step 1: Download the Kotak 811 & Mobile Banking App from Google Play Store or App Store
Step 2: Register the App using your Mobile number and CRN and Create MPIN to log in.
Step 3: After the login, Select Debit Card from the dashboard. Now you can see different Debit-related options
Step 4: Tap on ‘Regenerate PIN‘ and enter your MPIN to verify.
Step 5: Now in the next screen you can enter your new ATM Pin. Confirm the same by entering it again and tap on the Submit button.
