Forgetting your login password can be stressful, but there is no need to worry. This guide has your back and will take you through the simple steps to reset your SBI YONO password, securely getting you back on track.
There are two ways to log in to the SBI YONO App:
Using your existing SBI Internet Banking User Name and Password
Using your MPIN
So if you cannot log into the YONO App, with the MPIN, you can try with the SBI Net Banking User Name and Password.
Important Note: Resetting your SBI YONO login password involves changing either your MPIN (mobile PIN) or your SBI Internet Banking username and password.
Find below the steps I have used to reset my SBI YONO Password.
How to change SBI YONO Password?
As the YONO App provides 2 options to log in, Forgot YONO Login password means you forgot both the MPIN and Internet Banking User Name and Password.
Important Note: You cannot reset your SBI MPIN (mobile PIN) directly through the YONO App. First, you need to log in with your SBI Internet Banking username and password to change your MPIN.
So to change your SBI MPIN, you have to login to the YONO App using your SBI Internet Banking User Name and Password.
So first learn How to reset your SBI Internet Banking User Name and Password through the YONO App.
YONO SBI Forgot Username and Password
To reset your SBI Internet banking password, you need the following details in handy.

By following the below simple steps, You can reset your SBI Internet Banking Username and Password through the YONO App.
Step 1: Open the SBI YONO App
Open the YONO App, and tap on ‘Login using Username‘. If you have previously attempted to log in with MPIN, you can find the ‘Login using Username’ option just below it.
Step 2: Oops! Forgot Your Password?
No problem at all. Just below the login fields, there’s a friendly link that says “Forgot Username or Password?” Tap on that, and we’re on our way. Now you will be redirected to a screen where you can provide details for the reissue of the new Internet Banking Password.
Step 3: SBI Internet Banking Password reset Options
Option 1: Reset the Password using the SBI Internet Banking User Name and Profile Password
Option 2: Reset using SBI ATM Card and ATM PIN Number
Based on the availability of the above details, choose an option and move to the next step.
Step 4 – a: Password reset using Profile Password
If you know your SBI Internet Banking User Name and Profile Password, then enter those details in the columns provided and tap the ‘Next’ button.
Step 4 – b: Password reset using SBI ATM & Pin
If you have your SBI ATM Card and know the ATM PIN, then enter that details and tap on ‘Next‘
Step 5: Set New Password
Now you will get a screen to set a new Internet Banking Password. Enter the new Password and re-enter it. Then tap on the ‘Confirm’ button at the bottom of the screen.
Now you will get an OTP.
Step 6: Type in the OTP
Got the OTP? Great! Type it in where the app asks you to. This is like your special key to unlock the next step.
Step 7: Password Change Confirmation
Once the OTP is confirmed, you will get a confirmation message. ‘Your SBI Internet Banking Password changed successfully’
You will also get an SMS confirmation.
Step 8: Login with Your Fresh Password
Congratulations! You’ve successfully reset your password. Now, log in using your brand-new, super-strong password.
Your new SBI Internet Banking Password along with your Username can be used to login the YONO app.
How to change YONO MPIN?
You can change the MPIN (Mobile Login Password) after login the YONO App through SBI Internet Banking User Name and Password.
Follow the below steps:
Step 1: Open the SBI YONO App
Open it up. You’ll see the login screen – that’s where the magic happens. There you can see Two options:
Login Using MPIN
Login using Username
As you don’t remember the SBI MPIN, tap on ‘Forgot MPIN‘ as seen in the screenshot below.
Step 2: Login with Internet Banking Username & Password
“If you have forgotten your MPIN you may reset your MPIN by logging in using your INB credentials.
On the bottom side of the screen, tap on ‘Service Request‘ then tap on ‘Settings‘
Step 3:Remove MPIN
Now you can find the option to “Remove MPIN“. Tap on it to remove the MPIN from your account.
Then out the YONO App
Step 3:Login and Set MPIN
In your next login, you may go to the tab “Login using MPIN” and choose “Set MPIN”
Now you can login with your new MPIN.
Step 4: Change MPIN
For changing MPIN, after logging in from the menu, go to Settings and select “Change MPIN“.
Enter the new MPIn and then Confirm it.
Extra Tips
If the OTP takes a bit, no worries – hit “Resend OTP.”
Keep your password superhero-strong for added security.

Open the app and enter your registered mobile number.

Receive and enter the OTP sent to your mobile number.

(Optional) Log in using your existing SBI Internet Banking User Name and Password.

(Optional) Create a new username and password if you don’t have a net banking account.

Create an MPIN.
When you register the SBI YONO App for the first time, YONO will be registered with the Registered Mobile Number in the Bank.
For the Mobile Number verification, it will send an SMS and after the successful Mobile Number verification, it will show if there is an existing SBI Internet Banking associated with this Mobile Number.
If you already have an Internet Banking account with SBI, you can log in using your existing net banking username and Password.
If you don’t have a net banking account, you can create a new username and password.
Once you have logged in, you will be prompted to create an MPIN (Mobile PIN). This MPIN will be used to log in to the app in the future.
