Step 5: If you have selected  ‘Using One Time Password (OTP), then you will get an OTP in your SBI Registered Mobile Number. If you have not registered your Mobile Number with SBI, then you can register your Mobile Number using any SBI ATM. If you want to change your already registered Mobile Number, you can change it online. Apply New ATM Card -OTP Method If you have not registered your Mobile Number, your SBI registered Mobile Number is missing or not available to you right now, then don’t worry. You can still apply for the new SBI ATM card using your SBI Internet Banking Profile Password option. Just select the ‘Using Profile Password’ option as the mode of validation. Method 1 — Apply SBI ATM Card via YONO App (Easiest)

  1. Open YONO SBI app and login with MPIN
  2. Tap Service Request from the bottom menu
  3. Select ATM/Debit Card Services
  4. Tap Request New/Replacement Card
  5. Select your account number
  6. Choose card type (see table above)
  7. Confirm your registered address — card delivers here
  8. Verify with OTP sent to registered mobile
  9. Tap Submit — application confirmed
Address verification before applying: SBI delivers your new card to the address registered in their records. Before applying, check your registered address in YONO — Profile — Personal Details. If it is outdated, update it first at your home branch. Applying with a wrong address means the card will go to the old address and may return to SBI after 30 days.

Method 2 — Apply via SBI Net Banking

  1. Login to onlinesbi.sbi with username and password
  2. Click e-Services in the top menu
  3. Select ATM Card Services
  4. Click Request ATM/Debit Card
  5. Select your account number from the dropdown
  6. Choose card variant
  7. Enter your name as it should appear on the card
  8. Verify registered address
  9. Enter Profile Password or OTP to authenticate
  10. Submit — confirmation number displayed on screen

Method 3 — Apply at SBI Branch

If you do not have net banking access or YONO registered, branch application is straightforward:

  1. Visit your SBI home branch (the branch where your account was opened)
  2. Ask for the ATM/Debit Card application form
  3. Fill your name, account number, card type and signature
  4. Submit with a copy of your passbook or account statement
  5. Card dispatched within 3-5 working days from branch processing
