Andhra Bank, One of the medium-sized public sector bank in India offers several services to its customers. In this Post find Timings of Andhra bank (Lunch Time, Working Hours, Saturday Timings etc).

The bank now operates in 25 states and three Union Territories across India. It has 2885 branches and 3798 ATMs. Andhra Bank has its headquarters in Hyderabad, India. Andhra Bank has introduced an Internet Banking facility for the customer’s convenience. Even the bank has started digital services which help the customer to transfer funds easily even during the pandemic.

During the COVID-19 Pandemic, Andhra bank is offering very limited services through its branches. You have to use Andhra bank Internet banking and Mobile apps to do services like Fund transfer (third party and Inter-bank transfers), Balance checking, Mini-Statement etc

To keep social distancing and protecting its staff and customers from the pandemic, Andhra bank is providing only the below services through the branch now.

  1. Cash deposits and withdrawals (For interbank transfer, the bank will ask customers to  use the Mobile App or Online Banking facility)
  2. Government Transactions
  3. Cheque Clearances

So Andhra bank is providing very limited services through their branches during the COVID-19 pandemic time. If you have a plan to visit any Andra bank branch during the COVID-19 period, before leaving, check whether you can do that transaction online.


 Andhra Bank Working Days, Working Hours, Saturday Timing

10 AM to 4 PM Monday to Friday
10 AM to  4 PM 1st, 3rd and 5th Saturdays
Closed 2nd and 4th Saturdays

Closed Public Holiday

Normal working hours of the Andhra bank branches – 10 AM to 4 PM from Monday to Friday. But the working hours and Timings of the branches may be different in different cities across India.

All Saturdays except Second and 4th Saturdays, Andhra bank works normally (10 A.M to 4 P.M), you can do normal businesses in these timings like Account Opening, Cash Deposit and Withdrawals, avail Gold Loan and other loans, Print Passbook etc.

Like other banks in India, Andra bank also not works on 2nd and Fourth Saturdays every month.

On Sunday and Public Holidays, the bank will remain closed. But these public Holidays may be different in different states and cities.

So before leaving to visit the branch, make sure that Today is not a Bank Holiday in your city/state.


 Andhra Bank Lunch Timing

Normal lunchtime of the Andra bank branches is 1.PM to 2.PM. But as the staffs go for lunch on a rotational basis, there will be someone to take care of your needs. But during lunch hours, you may not get all services.

So it is good visiting the branch before/after lunchtime, to avoid the waiting time.


 Andhra Bank NEFT and RTGS Timing

Like other banks in India, Andra bank’s NEFT services will work 24*7 now.

ie; National Electronic Funds Transfer (NEFT) facility available for 24 hours a day and 365 days a year.

Customers of the Andhra bank with a Savings or Current account can use this facility during the normal working hours of the branch. The funds will be transferred to other bank’s account instantly.

Andhra Bank users can also transfer funds using the NEFT system with the help of internet banking. As ordered by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI), there will be no charges on the transfer of funds online via NEFT.

NEFT transactions will be credited to the beneficiary account within 2 hours. To transfer the fund through NEFT, you need the beneficiary Bank account number, IFSC Code, Name and Address.

NEFT through the branch works on all days except on 2nd & 4th Saturday of the month, Sundays and National Holidays.

Real-time Gross Settlement (RTGS) service is available at Andhra Bank from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM Monday to Friday but not on 2nd & 4th Saturdays, Sundays, and other bank holidays.
