Axis Bank offers financial services to customers which covers a large and mid-corporates, MSMEs, agriculture, and other retail businesses.
Due to the Coronavirus Pandemic and the consequent lockdown across the country, many banks have changed their branch timings and constantly requesting the customers for the usage of digital transactions.
Apart from basic payment and transfer operations, unnecessary or unimportant services like updating the passbook, creating new accounts, and other services from the bank would not be available.
So Axis Bank is providing essential services such as cash withdrawals/deposits, cheque clearance, remittances, and government transactions with effect from March 23, 2020.
Some other unimportant services such as updating passbooks, opening a new account, and note exchange services would be temporarily off.
Axis bank Working Hours
Axis bank works from 9 AM to 4 PM. There would be some changes in different branches.

Axis bank remains closed on the public holidays.
Axis bank provides important services like Fund Transfer from one account to another, third-party transactions, Balance checking, Beneficiary adding, Mini-Statement generation etc through online and Mobile Apps.
This further supports the whole idea of encouraging people to use online banking and avoid human contact and minimize the chances of spreading the Coronavirus.
Lunch Time of Axis Bank
The lunch timings would be probably between 1.30 PM to 2.30 PM. But the customers would be answered even during this time (But the wait time will be more than the other working hours).
Saturday Timing
Axis bank will be open and you can do normal transactions from 10.00 A.M to 4 P.M on all 1st, 3rd and 5th Saturdays.
Bank will be closed on 2nd and Fourth saturdays. But you can use Online banking and Mobile banking to do transactions like NEFT, IMPS etc.
NEFT and RTGS Timings of Axis Bank
NEFT transactions available 24*7 through Axis Bank Internet and Mobile Banking. You can use NEFT to transfer money at any time using the Axis Bank Online banking and Mobile banking channels. You have to add the beneficiary first to transfer money to a third party.
Only after the beneficiary approval, you can use the NEFT to transfer money to that account.

Non-Home Branch: Cash transactions up to Rs.25,000/- per day Free. Exceeding which Rs.5/- per thousand, subject to a minimum of Rs.150/- to be charged.
Convenience fee on Cash Deposit Transaction done at Cash Deposite Machine: Rs.50 per transaction after banking hours (i.e. Between 5:00 pm to 9:30 am) and on Bank Holidays (National and State)
